Joker

It is difficult to ignore all the villain movies available today. Joker has been a significant character in villain films that have attracted a large fanbase. The Joker has been Batman's chief rival since his debut in 1940. He has caused panic in Gotham city with various weird characters, such as the first to murder the moon. Besides the comics, the Joker has grown in popularity and fame among movie fans. Therefore in this article, we have listed all the Joker Movies that have been a banger over the years. We have arranged the movies from the worst to the best. We have done the ranking considering how the fans have received the films and their reactions to them. You can watch the Joker movies on streaming sites such as Netflix.

1. Scooby-Doo Joker ( Larry Storch)

Without a doubt, this movie marks the worst of this character. It’s even so hard to find positivity that you can exhaust about it.

The animated show follows the Mystery Inc. team that has been away for two years. In the end, they all get an invitation to Spooky Island. On arrival, unaware that Scrappy has invited others, they discover a theme park having unexpected effects on young guests. Scooby, Daphine, Fred, Shaggy, and Velma quickly realize they need each other to solve this riddle.

2. Suicide Squad (Jared Leto)

Jared Leto’s widely panned his appearance as the Joker in Suicide Squad at the time. However, it’s not as horrible as the critical reaction would have you believe. The movie has strange appearance choices and a sluggish narrative that renders the character feel like an afterthought. Leto’s version, conversely, is eye-catching due to his erratic behavior and slimy menace.

The movie’s storyline follows a government agency that needs to end an apocalypse. They thus recruit a strong task force that has some of the most dangerous criminals.

3. Batman: Arkham Origins ( Troy Baker)

For his part, Baker had to follow Mark Hamill’s iconic portrayal of the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins. Baker, instead, opted to essentially mimic Hamill's voice records instead of making creative decisions to distinguish his version from Leto’s. This Joker has a distinct lack of originality, which makes it feel like a clone.

Eight deadly assassins hired by Black Mask are after Bruce Wayne two years into his Batman career. Batman discovers his best opportunity of gaining an ally when he confronts a GCPD officer.

4. Gotham ( Cameron Monaghan)

Mistah J, the Clown Prince of Crime in Gotham, was never formally designated the Joker. However, Monaghan takes on the role in two different ways. Consequently, it’s hard not to compare Jerome to a classic Joker because of his quick movements and shaky, aggressive energy. When the movie portrays Jeremiah as a Frankenstein's Monster-style monster, the result is an entirely unusual and original interpretation of the character. Monaghan expertly juggles the two Jokers, one well-known and the other new.

In the movie, Joe Chill murders Thomas and Martha Wayne in front of Bruce Wayne. Although investigators Harvey Bullock and James Gordon of the Gotham City Police Department appear to solve the case fast, it is not so. Inspired by Bruce's traumatized need for justice, Gordon swears to find it in Gotham. So starts Gordon's lonesome mission, pitting him against his teammates and the underworld's deadly rivalries and secrets. A developing fixation drives Bruce to pursue his justice against the darkness of Gotham as The Batman.

5. Batman '66 (Cesar Romero)

A particular age group may fondly recall Cesar Romero's Joker. He adds to the already vibrant, campy 1960s Batman series with his rolling Rs and display laugh. Because he lacks edge, he may not appear as intimidating to 21st Century audiences, but Decades of future Joker actors owe him a debt for sure.

Batman and Robin are the crime-fighting combinations of Bruce Wayne and his ward, Dick Grayson. Using the Batphone, Commissioner Gordon calls The Dynamic Two from their hiding place in the Wayne mansion’s Batcave. It's a rogue's gallery of flamboyant arch-villains that Batman and Robin must battle with the aid of their utility belts, including The Joker, The Penguin, The Riddler, and Catwoman.

6. Batman (Jack Nicholson)

For all manner of reasons, the Joker of the 1989 Batman film is a disguised Jack Nicholson. However, that doesn't make him any less of a great villain. Whatever the scene, Nicholson's portrayal of Bruce Wayne is so memorable that it dwarfs Michael Keaton's portrayal of Bruce Wayne in the film. Nicholson's Bruce Wayne is a wallflower by comparison. With his ability to switch seamlessly among severe, sad, and shocking stand-up comedy, Nicholson has never had so much fun in a role as he does here.

7. Joker ( Joaquin Phoenix)

It's challenging to place Phoenix's Arthur Fleck in the ranks of the Joker. When it comes to breathing room for character exploration, he's got far more than the rest of the cast. As a result, this allows him to do so with such wide-eyed terror. Phoenix's piercing laughter masks a strangely human performance. However, it lacks the instantaneously iconic status of Mark Hamill or the breadth of his acting career. Like Heath Ledger's, Phoenix's portrayal of the Joker feels like a definitive end to the character, and you battle to see how anyone can top this version of the essence.

8. Batman Arkham Series ( Mark Hamil)

Whether in video games or animated films, Mark Hamill's portrayal of the Joker is unrivaled. At the same time, he’s equally at home belting out Batman Christmas songs and leering his way through foiled plots. A testament to Hamill’s versatility, he manages to pull off each role without ever sacrificing the character’s authenticity. However, he’s not a one-trick pony. In the flashbacks from Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, in which he bludgeons Jason Todd in less than an inch of his life, Hamill’s Joker developed into a nasty piece of work.

Having played the Joker for nearly a quarter-century, Hamill seems like he could keep exploring the character’s dark, untapped areas for years to come.

9. Dark Night ( Heath Ledger)

No surprise here, but Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker was groundbreaking and iconic in every way. And he has more iconic scenes in The Dark Knight than most actors do in a lifetime.

How to begin? That bruising Christian Bale bouncing off him as a never-better Batman, the bold opening bank job, the snarled "Why so serious?" After the tragic loss of Heath Ledger, his legacy lives on through this captivating performance – and his Joker, which other jokers may never surpass.

Which Joker is the Most Accurate

Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the character is the most comically true. Even when you compare Ledger to Joaquin Phoenix’s brilliant representation, Ledger, through his display, is more accurate.
